# Evidence-Ready BOS Watchlist Method

This method helps Solarbe Global review rooftop and C&I PV BOS product lines before they enter buyer RFQ conversations.

It is not a certification, ranking, endorsement, engineering review or supplier guarantee. It is an evidence-readiness screen.

## Scope

Use this method for:

1. Mounting structures and roof interface components.
2. DC cables, AC cables and cable assemblies.
3. Connectors, junction boxes and combiner boxes.
4. Protection devices, switchgear and distribution accessories.
5. Packaging, labeling and installation-detail evidence.
6. Local inspection, installation, commissioning or service routing when relevant.

Do not use this method to promise full EPC design, structural calculation, grid approval, installation liability or after-sales responsibility.

## Scoring Dimensions

| Dimension | What We Check | Why It Matters |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Product scope | Model, variant, material, rated current, voltage, dimension or compatibility boundary | Buyers need to know what is actually included |
| Site assumption | Rooftop, ground, climate, corrosion, wind, fire or installation assumption | BOS accessories fail when site assumptions are unclear |
| Standard evidence | IEC, UL, CE, TUV, local standard or test report scope where applicable | Certificates must match the product and market |
| Packaging evidence | Carton, pallet, labeling, batch traceability and shipment protection | BOS items are easy to damage or confuse in delivery |
| Installation evidence | Detail photos, manuals, torque, wiring, grounding and commissioning notes | Installers need practical evidence before use |
| Service boundary | Inspection, replacement, warranty, local partner and escalation path | Buyers need to know who handles problems |

## Readiness Levels

1. **Level A: RFQ-ready**
The supplier can explain product scope, target market, site assumptions, key standards, packaging and service boundary.

2. **Level B: evidence-building**
The product line may be useful, but at least two evidence areas need more files or clarification before buyer comparison.

3. **Level C: evidence pending**
The product line is too unclear for buyer-facing use. Do not publish it until the supplier provides basic evidence.

## Minimum Intake

Use the intake sheet to capture:

1. Product category.
2. Main model or product family.
3. Target country or region.
4. Site or application assumption.
5. Standards or test evidence.
6. Images available.
7. Packaging evidence.
8. Service boundary.
9. Publish permission.

## Next Step

If a BOS product line reaches Level A or strong Level B, Solarbe Global may use it in a buyer RFQ discussion, evidence room, shortlist preparation or supplier meeting agenda. Final buyer selection still requires buyer-side review and supplier-side confirmation.
