# PV Module RFQ Lesson

## Price per watt is not enough before model and evidence are clear

Duration: 30-45 minutes
Audience: overseas buyers, Chinese PV module suppliers and local service partners
Boundary: education and sourcing preparation only. Not certification, price quotation or order commitment.

## Lesson goal

By the end of the session, participants should be able to turn a simple module price question into a cleaner RFQ and evidence checklist.

## 1. Why module RFQs look simple

PV modules are often compared by:

1. Wattage.
2. Price per watt.
3. Delivery time.

This is useful, but incomplete.

## 2. Why comparison breaks

Comparison breaks when offers do not share the same:

1. Exact model.
2. Technology route.
3. Certificate mapping.
4. Warranty and degradation terms.
5. Packaging and container loading.
6. Origin and compliance context.
7. Product image evidence.

## 3. Buyer checklist

Buyers should ask:

1. Which exact model is quoted?
2. Which certificate covers that model?
3. What warranty and degradation terms apply?
4. What is included in packaging and loading?
5. Which Incoterms and lead time are used?
6. Which images and evidence can be used before meetings?

## 4. Supplier checklist

Suppliers should prepare:

1. Model-level datasheet.
2. Certificate list with model pages.
3. Warranty document.
4. Packaging and container loading specification.
5. Product image pack with permission.
6. Clear quotation scope.

## 5. Assignment

Choose one product line and prepare:

1. Datasheet.
2. Certificate model mapping.
3. Warranty and degradation statement.
4. Packaging and loading note.
5. Authorized image pack.

## Next step

Use the PV Module RFQ field list and evidence room outline before comparing offers.
